6th Annual $1 Million Hole-in-One Shoot-Out 2009

Information and official rules of the event

This is a hole-in-one competition for 10 finalists for $1 Million and $1 Million for the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation.

1. All participants must be amateurs.
2. No professional golfers may enter.
3. Players must use balls provided. No other balls will be allowed.
4. Balls must be purchased. Cost of balls: $1 a ball.
5. There is no restriction on the number of balls that may be purchased. The organizers reserve the right to issue free ball coupons.
6. The qualifying hole is 150 yards for men & women.
7. Qualifying for the semi-final will take place between 12 pm Friday, June 12th to 12pm Sunday, June 21st, 2009.
8. Anyone who shoots a hole-in-one during the qualifying period automatically qualifies for the semi-final.
9. The daily ten nearest the pin will compete in the semi-final at 1pm Sunday, June 21st, to be one of the maximum ten closest to the hole or hole-in-one.
10. Each qualifier will have three non-consecutive shots in the semi-final and each can win prizes for a hole-in-one.
11. No finalist may have more than one (1) shot in the final round.

On Sunday, June 21st all finalists (maximum 10) will shoot one ball for a $1 million hole-in-one and in the event of a hole-in-one, Brockville and District Hospital Foundation will also receive $1 million.

All decisions regarding eligibility, distance measurements, ricochets, conduct, stoppage of play, and rescheduling will be made by the Shoot-Out Officials whose decision is final.
